Despite the fact that this site has been running for quite some time, and that the press and media are full of warnings about these scams, people still unfortunately fall for them.
I received the following series of documents today from a visitor who, regrettably, has lost some money paying the "processing" fee on a non existent lottery "win".
My correspondent has asked me to post the letters as a warning to others.
You will note that as the scam develops, the scammer becomes bolder and tries (having already received the "processing fee") to extract further money from the victim.
Another point worth noting is that the grammar and spelling are atrocious. This, if nothing else, should give a clear warning that the letters are a fake.
My commiserations to my correspondent for losing money on this.
I hope that the thieving scum bags who stole it get what is due to them.
