Another fake lottery "win" for me. This one, as so many do, claims that there has been a "mix up".
I wonder why, by claiming incompetence, the scammers think that this will make them seem any more credible in the eyes of their potential victims?

Just wanted to say that I got this email today and I immediately decided to look it up in the urban legends search. Lo and behold! Yup, just another scam. good grief! But I suppose it's always fun to think you might have won something for nothing...
ReplyDeleteyea same thing happen to me..actually i received a letter in mail with a check of amount 29800.00. a real check...and i deposited it in my account and what happens that my bank says that i would recieve the amout after 10 days and the lottery's claims should be before 9 days so,,yea i was screwed,. by the way i played that lottery online myself and i had to choose my own numbers......so yeai think i did won..but lets just look for the results now.. my name is ashar lol
